PROJECT
TORCOM Construction Inc. successfully executed a multi-faceted project at Kipling subway station, including the construction of new manager offices, roof replacement, and curtain wall window upgrades. This project highlights our expertise in managing complex construction in active transit environments.
Scope of Work
The project involved building new manager offices, replacing a section of the roof, and upgrading curtain wall windows along the station's south side. A dust-tight partition was installed to maintain station operations during construction. Deliveries were meticulously scheduled during non-operating TTC hours (3:00 am to 5:30 am), ensuring minimal disruption. Regular noise and odor monitoring were conducted during roofing work to safeguard commuter comfort. Close collaboration with the TTC ensured the project progressed smoothly and without issues.
