Glenforest Secondary School

TORCOM Construction Inc. completed two additions and significant interior renovations at Glenforest Secondary School, enhancing its facilities to better serve students and staff. This complex project was successfully executed while the school remained fully operational, reflecting our expertise in minimizing disruption during construction.

Scope of Work‍

The project included a two-story south addition with 12 new classrooms and a single-story north addition housing a new Cosmetology room and entrance. Interior renovations featured an expanded cafeteria with a new kitchen and a teaching kitchen for students. Exterior work involved asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks, curbs, and sodding in affected areas. Dust-tight hoarding was installed to ensure safety and minimize disruption, with material deliveries carefully coordinated to avoid interference with school activities.
